About
Groom Club is a mobile app where dog owners book, manage, and track at-home grooming visits.
I led the product from first scoping to launch, working with designers and developers on a cross-platform build.
Process
Discovery
Mapped user journeys with stakeholders and picked the MVP feature set: profile creation, service scheduling, groomer tracking, and post-visit care tips.
Stack selection
Chose Xano for fast backend setup and flexible APIs, React Native for the mobile apps, and React for the internal web dashboards.
Design and delivery
Worked with product designers on a calm, wellness-styled UI, ran weekly sprints, and kept frontend, backend, and the client on one roadmap.
QA and launch
Ran feature sign-off, defect tracking, and user feedback loops through the iOS and Android launches.
Outcome
The app shipped on iOS and Android. Users book grooming services, manage pet profiles and preferences, track visit status, and message their groomer.
